The well modeling of the power-line communication channel is the basis for the study of the power line communication technology.There are many problems in PLC channel modeling at present.In order to make the study which is aimed at the key technology of power-line communication easy,it is very meaningful to establish a channel model which is in accord with the actual situation of power-line communication in the laboratory.The channel noise and the channel attenuation are the main factors that affect the reliability of power-line communication systems.In this paper,the two factors are analyzed and studied by measurement on the spot,model establishment,experimental verification and simulation of the software platform.Firstly,the noise sample data and the transmission attenuation sample data of multiple groups of power line channels are measured in the laboratory.Secondly,on the basis of a large number of references,the statistical signal theory is used to process the noise sample data,and the statistical parameters are extracted and analyzed further.The channel noise is divided into two kinds of background noise and impulse noise according to whether noise is in the range of frequency.The background noise is modeled by the statistical AR model theory,and the Improved Markov chain model theory is used to model the impulse noise.Then,the statistical signal theory is also used to analyze the data of the transmission attenuation sample.The statistical parameters which are extracted from the sample data will be used to establish the statistical attenuation model of the power-line channel.This model parameter is used to control the coefficients of the digital filter bank,so that it can dynamically change the filter coefficient and reflect the time variation of power line attenuation.Finally,the software simulation platform of the power-line channel statistical model is designed by the GUI function of MATLAB.After the user selects the input signal type of the system,the attenuation changes of the signal transmitted in the statistical model of the power line channel can be observed directly.The phenomenon is the change of attenuation that after the signal through the actual power-line channel.Based on the statistical analysis of the measured data,the noise statistical model and attenuation statistical model of the power-line channel are analyzed and studied.A power-line channel statistical model is established,and the software simulation platform is designed.The modeling results are applied to the "PLC channel modeling technology research" of a well-known company.It solves the problem that the current power-line communication system is inconvenient to test,and provides an experimental platform for further research on key technologies of modulation and coding of power-line communication.
