In recent years,the smart grid construction is developing so fast that the demand for power grid GIS is getting higher and higher.In order to solve the problems existing in the current grid GIS platform like resource wastage,poor information sharing,low system operation efficiency,long system development cycle and so on,it is urgent to establish a GIS platform based on cloud computing.In this paper,the grid GIS platform container management theory and method based on cloud computing are deeply studied.Then the paper proposes a Docker-based power grid GIS platform container management technology architecture and apply the architecture to grid GIS platform.The main work of this paper is as follows:First of all,the paper analyzes the Docker container technology,domestic and international power grid GIS platform research status and cloud computing research status.Considering the China Electric Power Research Institute of hardware and software conditions,the paper puts forward Docker-based grid GIS platform container management technology architecture and propos es a container management platform design scheme.Secondly,according to the design scheme,the modules such as container and image management module,container and image private warehouse module,container and image backup module and automatic expansion m odule are developed.In the container and image management module,by using the interfaces(create,delete,stop and start)of the Docker container provided by Docker-java on Github and the interfaces for querying the status information and log information of the Docker container,we developed the system on the platform called SG-UAP.We use the Spring-MVC and Hibernate framework during the development and the development language is Java.In the private warehouse module,according to the actual situation of grid GIS project team and the conditions of China Electric Power Research Institute,combined with the current more popular Docker workflow,the paper designs grid GIS container application warehouse architecture model.So that grid GIS project team can store the source code,middle ware and microservices modules in the private central warehouse.The central warehouse can make a uniform management on them.In the automatic capacity expansion module,the platform monitors the platform operation data and sets the alarm mechanism.When the threshold is reached,the expansion operation is automatically performed.The backup module backs up the volume file on the HOST host at the specified time every day.Finally,the container management platform is functionally tested.The platform test process and the test results are simply described.The test results mean the platform is usable.What is more,the visualization process of each module is smooth and accurate,and the desired effect is achieved.All the functional m odules have realized the requirements of the requirement analysis stage and meet the requirements of grid GIS platform.The system will play a certain role in the development of smart grid.
