With the popularization and development of the Internet,social media has become an indispensable part of people's lives.Such technological changes have not only changed people's way of life and communication,but more importantly,reconstructed human social structures and ways of thinking,The influence of the media permeates every aspect of human life.In the meantime,as the older generation of migrant workers gradually withdraw from the stage of migrant workers,a new generation of migrant workers has become the main force among the migrant workers.The new generation of migrant workers is an important issue that China faces in the current transition.Whether these new immigrants can successfully integrate into new urban life and achieve their own goal of life on schedule will directly affect the economic development and social harmony of the entire Chinese society.This article will focus on the social media on the new generation of migrant workers social identity analysis of the influencing factors,for the influencing factors and the main involved,to give relevant strategies and suggestions.Exploring the interaction analysis between the social media and the social identity of the new generation of migrant workers makes it possible to find out some relevance and provide references for subsequent research.This paper mainly uses the literature analysis method to understand the current research status of the new generation of migrant workers,depth interviews with the new generation of migrant workers in Dadian Township,Wugang City,Hunan Province,to understand the present situation of the social media usage of the new generation of migrant workers and the social media Correlation between behavior and urban adaptation.The study found that,for now,the lack of social security system and household registration system,the low economic status led to the purchase of housing is difficult,identity and emotional loss is hindered the new generation of migrant workers in urban adaptation of the main factors that caused the new generation of migrant workers in Lack of sense of belonging and security in the city.Social media has become an indispensable tool for the new generation of migrant workers to live and work.The unconscionable social media use of these groups has affected their life in the city and their adaptation to the city.On the one hand,the use of social media allows new generation of migrant workers to provide them with channels of communication with cities before they enter the city,shaping their imagination of the city.Next to entering the city,social media use enables new generations of migrant workers to weaken the status of "migrant workers" Get mental equality while maintaining and restructuring their social networks.Provide channels to escape the real environment for the new generation of migrant workers to obtain emotional adaptation,in addition to access to self-expression platform,affecting their social participation.Social media,on the other hand,has a negative impact on the urban adaptation of the new generation of migrant workers.Social media shapes a network of virtual weak ties that lead to alienation of new generation of migrant workers.At the same time,there is a difference between the new generation of migrant workers and urban youth participating in the public issues on the Internet,thus forming a new "knowledge gap." In addition,the social media provided some fragmented information that could not make the rational decision of the new generation of migrant workers.Finally,according to the main factors involved in the influence of social media on the new generation of migrant workers,this paper proposes strategies to expand the social media's positive impact on the new generation of migrant workers' cities from four aspects:government,social media service providers,communities and new generation of migrant workers.
