With the development of digital publishing technology and Internet business model,the requirements for the production and application of encyclopedic publications are becoming higher and higher.Compared with edited of traditional encyclopedic publications,in the current "Internet plus" era,combining the compilation of encyclopedic publications with computer technology,not only can improve the work efficiency,and brings great convenience to the editor's operation.The third edition of the Chinese encyclopedia,which is published by the state council,is unusual.It is not only a manifestation of scientific innovation,but also a platform for scientific popularization.The library of social science philosophy as its entry Chinese sub project is important,therefore,developing digital cooperative editing system can help editors carry out entry editing conveniently and easily,eventually forming rapid release of XML document.The digital collaborative editing platform is the systematic work of multi-department and multi-class personnel.It is the key point to edit,modify and revise the encyclopedia entry.The collaborative editing platform designed and implemented in this paper is mainly composed of two large modules: Entry management and editing platform.Entry management module mainly includes entry addition,entry retrieval and entry assignment.The editing module is mainly composed of the visual verification of Word based indexing and XML,the review process of the video full media document,and the annotation of the annotation station.Through the design and implementation of the digital collaborative editing system,the work efficiency of editors and review staff has been improved,and speed up the encyclopedia online version of the release and availability.The most important feature of digital collaborative editing system is the indexing based on Word and the visual verification of XML.Editors collect and edit entries based on Word,they can edit entries directly based on Word,they can also be annotated for entries based on PDF of automatically generated,its convenience and simplification of the user's operation.At the same time,It can automatically convert Word to XML in the system background,and the XML is mapped to H5 style page editor known,editors can Visual check XML based on the H5 Browsing page without having to touch the XML data itself.Based on Word indexing scheme,we have supported the application of image and video content.Digital collaborative editing system has been successfully applied in editing work of China Encyclopedia(third edition)Library of Chinese Philosophy and Social Sciences,it provides users with great convenience and is well received.
