With the rise of network technology, new media technologies represented by self-media are developing at an unprecedented rate. The focus on media technologies, especially emerging media technologies,is also becoming an important research area in today's communication studies. The research of the new media technology in the domestic communication academy can be plentiful every year. However, behind the seemingly prosperous phenomenon of media technology research, the predicament of communication studies in this field is hidden. On the one hand, different kinds of media based on different paradigm discourses do not have a common topic of academic communication. On the other hand, these studies on the effects of new media technologies are often mere retellings of predecessors' thoughts, and most of them are superficial and lack academic imagination.Facing this kind of predicament, this article hopes to provide a dynamic new perspective for the study of communication science in the field of media technology through the questioning of Heidegger's technological ideas.Based on this, the structure of this paper is as follows: In the first part, this article will use Heidegger's analysis of "Zeug" as an entry point to explain Heidegger's early technical ideas in detail. In the second part, this article starts with Heidegger's analysis of modern and modern science, and focuses on the reflection of the essence of modern technology in Heidegger's late thoughts. In the third part of this article, this article will analyze and discuss the inspiration of Heidegger's technical thoughts for the study of the media science of communication, based on the exposition of Heidegger's question of the root of questioning technology—reflection on metaphysics. Finally,in the conclusion, summarize the full text.
