With the development of information technology and other leaders, people are committed to seeking more computing power, more storage capacity and faster processing speed, but small-scale automation equipment has taken more and more part in daily life.Units with data processing, data storage, context awareness, and mutual communication capabilities have almost entered the full range of human activities. The network of these small communication units has accelerated the range of people's ability to collect information. In a large wireless sensor network consisting of thousands of entities, each node requires its ability to detect locations and share it with others, which requires that the nodes have the ability to work long hours. However, the lifetime of a wireless sensor network node is usually defined by the lifetime of a battery charge.Due to the limited sensor energy,it is difficult to charge and replace the battery in a large-scale WSN.Therefore, avoiding energy waste and optimizing the energy consumption within each sensor node is critical in wireless sensor networks. This article mainly starts from reducing the idle energy consumption of the Media Access Control layer nodes in wireless sensor networks, and introduces the dormant state in the exhaust polling system, and adopts the analysis method of Markov chain and probability generating function.Modeling and analysis were performed, and first-order and higher-order characteristic quantities such as average queue length, average query period, and average waiting time were derived.Simulation experiments verified the correctness of the theoretical analysis.Compared with the classical exhaust system, the calculation accuracy was obtained.A big increase.Based on this, this paper proposes a Sleeping Exhaust Polling Control(S-EPC)with Sleep for WSN,analyzes the access control process, and based on IEEE 802.11 PCF frame structure. The frame structure of S-EPC was designed, and finally the energy consumption of nodes was analyzed.Simulation experiments show that while taking into account service performance, system energy consumption has been greatly reduced, and it canmeet the application requirements of WSN.
