4 Generation refers to the fourth generation network communication(usually referred to as 4G),4G communication technology has the advantages of high transmission rate,advanced technology,and more economical use of frequency.As a new generation of mobile communication technology,it can better satisfy users' more extensive requirements for high-speed wireless network services and at the same time help to promote information consumption.In response to the current informational tide,accelerating the construction of Chinese 4G network is an important measure in response to the State Council's strategy of “Broadband China”.The author focuses on the research of the 4G communication network construction in Baiyin City which is of great significance to improve the overall level of information infrastructure in Baiyin city and meet the increasing demand for information and communication services in the society.This paper first analyzes related technologies of 4G network coverage and optimization,including 4G network architecture,multiple access methods,multi-antenna technology,and wireless link balancing theory.At the same time,the analysis of the different requirements of TD-LTE services based on the differences between 4G LTE service application scenarios and user groups has determined the optimization principles of 4G network coverage in Baiyin City.Then,the common wireless link propagation model and its model optimization method are analyzed.The coverage design of 4G network is designed based on the available frequency band of the 4G network in Baiyin City.On the one hand,it starts from the requirements of continuous coverage,interference avoidance,and convenient maintenance.The selection of the base station site was studied.On the other hand,starting from reducing the interference to neighboring cells and improving the edge user experience,the choice of antenna type was studied.In terms of optimization of the 4G network in Baiyin City,the location planning method of the 4G network antenna is optimized according to the performance requirements such as wireless connection rate,RRC connection establishment success rate,handover success rate,and wireless drop rate.The automatic placement of antennas in the coverage area is achieved and the marginal field strengths of single antenna coverage are basically the same,which ensures uniform coverage of the 4G network in Baiyin City.Through the simulation tests in Baiyin District,Pingchuan District,Jingtai County,Jingyuan County,and Huining County,the results show that reasonable location and planning of base stations can effectively improve the signal strength of regional coverage and save the input cost of base stations,and verify the feasibility of the optimization scheme of Baiyin 4G network.The study of the author is to better lead the planning of the 4G network location selection in Baiyin City,which will enable telecom companies to move from passively satisfying demands to active marketing,and finally achieve balance with business development needs.
