From 2013 to 2019,the large-scale construction of telecommunication LTE network has been basically completed.However,with the rapid development of Internet business,the application of mobile office,mobile video,intelligent life,Internet of Things and other services,major operators have launched large traffic packages one after another.Mobile terminals' demand for data traffic has increased dramatically,which is the premise of meeting the basic coverage of the network.Next,the demand for high network capacity is increasing day by day.In addition,LTE network is based on high-frequency networking,wireless signal attenuation is larger than 3G network,traditional macro station and traditional distribution system construction process,the coverage problem is more prominent,customer experience is reduced;secondly,with the continuous development of the city,more and more new buildings,increasing floor density,wireless environment is becoming more and more complex.Under the dual constraints of weak coverage and high capacity,various optimization methods emerge at the historic moment.As one of the effective solutions,micro-base station can improve user network perception,reduce customer churn and win more market share for telecommunications.This paper mainly elaborates the positioning,networking technology,coverage capacity analysis,technical characteristics,planning and optimization scheme of micro-base stations,and compares them with traditional construction methods.It has the characteristics of solving weak coverage and upgrading capacity,fast maintenance,shortening construction period and reducing cost.In addition,it also has the characteristics of indoor capacity,outdoor weak coverage and indoor weak coverage.Three typical scenarios are introduced,and the coverage effect is evaluated and validated.Micro-base station system positioned in "blind compensation and shunt" can solve the problems of weak coverage and insufficient capacity of hot spots in LTE wireless network.
