In the Internet era,the new media has replaced the traditional media as the main means for the audience to obtain information.The extensive application of new media provides unprecedented convenience for the public to obtain news,but the fragmented dissemination of the network news,spread of false news and anecdotal gossip with a viral situation are very likely to influence the correct direction of public opinion.On Feb.19 th,2016,General Secretary Xi Jinping stressed at the party's forum on the work of news and public opinion that "it is necessary to speed up the training and establishment of a team of news and public opinion that is politically firm,highly professional,with a fine style of work,and that the party and the people are at ease".The important speech by the General Secretary puts forward higher requirements for the construction of the team of news and public opinion under the new era.For "the generation after 90s" who are entering the news industry in large numbers,they have become a force that cannot be ignored among the new media professionals.Their political quality,theoretical knowledge,professional ability,legal and moral literacy will affect whether they can convey ideology,guide public opinion,and tell the Chinese story correctly in the new media environment.Guizhou,located in the hinterland of Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau in the west,is relatively backward in economy because of the inconvenience of transportation,the scarcity of resources and few modern industries.In the past five years,Guizhou has developed rapidly depending on big data,becoming the first comprehensive experimental area of big data,which leads the development of new media industry in Guiyang City,Guizhou Province to change quickly.Taking this case as the research background,this paper takes "the generation after 90s",who are engaged in new media news editing in Guiyang City,as the research object,and investigates the present situation of their professional quality by questionnaire survey and individual interviews,finding out general absence of this group,and putting forward relevant recommendations and solutions in accordance with the existing problems.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part mainly discusses the development of big data in Guizhou and the current situation of local new media development,analyzes the group characteristics of "the generation after 90s",and gives a general data description of "the generation after 90s" occupies in new media news in Guiyang City.The second part discusses the professional quality composition of traditional media and new media,dividing the professional quality composition into four parts: political quality,theoretical literacy,professional literacy,legal and moral literacy as the questionnaire indicators.The third part analyzes the basic characteristics of the survey group by collecting the data of the questionnaire.The fourth part,combining with the survey data,clarifies the current status of the professional literacy of "the generation after 90s" occupies in new media news in Guiyang,and analyzes the factors.The fifth part,with theory and practice,puts forward advice to strengthen "the generation after 90s" occupies in new media news in Guiyang from the subjective side and objective side.
