The Shaping Of Korean National Image In People's Daily(2012-2017)

At present,the technology of news dissemination has a rapid increase,mass media plays an increasingly important role in social life.China and South Korea are close neighbors of a strip of water.Since the establishment of diplomatic ties in 1992,the relations between the two countries have witnessed rapid development.Now the relations between China and South Korea have become an important part of China's foreign relations.People's perception of the image of South Korea mainly comes from the media.The image of South Korea presented by the media greatly influences people's perception of South Korea.Because of its credibility and influence,the mainstream media has undoubted advantage in influencing people's perception of the image of South Korea.The People's Daily,the representative of the mainstream media,is the official comprehensive daily newspaper with the largest number of domestic publications.The leading credibility and authority make the"People's Daily" an absolute advantage when presenting the image of South Korea.When The People's Daily reported on South Korea,the reporting methods related to South Korea's reporting were relatively fixed,which was reflected in the overall number of reports,the length of the reports,the layout of the reports,and sources of information.In addition,the genres and fields related to Korean reports are also rich.The "People's Daily" has shaped a domestic government's troubles,slowing economic development,self-confidence in science and technology,and social life with both fears and worries through the Korean-related reports.At the same time,it has been forced to strengthen military power and the Korean image that is active on the international stage.Through research,it can be seen that the "People's Daily" shaping the Korean national image will be influenced by factors such as news facts,communication systems,Sino-Korea relations,and national interests.People's Daily's report on South Korea's involvement in the Republic of Korea also has some problems in obtaining social recognition.Its optimization path includes:improving the objectivity of news reports,strengthening the three-dimensional news reports,increasing publicized news perspectives and improving the interest of news reports.As the mainstream media in China,People's Daily plays an exemplary role in guiding the audience's emotions and attitudes.It is hoped that this study will play a guiding role in revisiting and adjusting the reports involving Korea.
