With the development of information technology,we have now entered the era of "Internet Plus",in which mobile users are in the dominant place of 96.3%.As a result,the need for "mobile learning" is increasing.We have witness rapid progress in online education courses,but most of them are conducted only with the support of video or picture,and are lack of demonstration and interactive animation.This has become one of the biggest bottleneck of improving mobile learning environment and outcome.HTML5,which is perfect for course demostration and interactive animation for mobile learning,has rapidly developed in business sector,but still need a breakthrough in teaching.HTML5 brings revolutionary technology in making modern rich Web content,including the possibility to draw vector graphics directly in browser.Integrating JavaScript's powerful computational ability,interactive response and time-event capabilities,it is possible to develop powerful demonstrations and interactive animations at web front end.However,the theoretical research of how to carry out HTML5 development on the premise of scientificity,is still a blank needs to be filled at this moment.This study starts from the laws of physics teaching,and combines mobile learning with the new features of HTML5 which are suitable for programs and animation development.It conducts systematically reseach on the key technology that supports using HTML5 on physical demonstration and interactive animation.The paper analyzes various requirements of building a mobile learning environment for physical demonstration and interactive animations,and offers solutions of how to guarantee the scientificity,normativity,interactivity,and cross-platform adaptability of the animation.This study carrys out physical analysis and mathematical modeling on a variety of typical physics problems,physics phenomena and physics processes,and brings out animated simulation and visual presentation of the animation design ideas and programming methods.Combined both theoritical research and practical development application,this study has completed "HTML5 Physics Animation Library" of the new form textbook "Physics"(fifth edition,written by Liu Kezhe.etc)."HTML5 Physics Animation Library" is an integral part of textbook's digital course website,where readers can use mobile devices to scan two-dimensional codes printed on paper textbooks to get access to the corresponding learning resources in the new form textbook.The new form textbook is planned to be published by Higher Education Press soon.
