In today's security system,the role of video surveillance system is very obvious,and its developing trend is also overwhelming.It has the intuition of real-time and multi-viewpoints,and can provide alertness and protection for crowded places such as factories,schools,traffic intersections,shopping malls,etc.Monitoring personnel can quickly make emergency plans according to the emergency situation of surveillance video.Therefore,it has been playing an increasingly prominent role in combating crimes.In addition,it is also widely used in harsh working environments as an alternative of man.Taking the actual hardware and software development of the embedded project as the research background,the thesis builds up a network-based video surveillance system,and studies and analyzes a series of problems in the video image acquisition such as coding,transmission,playback and early warning.The system uses an ARM microprocessor as the client's main control chip,uses Linux as the server platform,and compiles the programming codes using a cross-compilation method.The system's functions are as follows:(1)through the programming operation of ARM processor,controls the USB camera to complete the video acquisition;(2)uses the built-in encoder to realize the image codec;(3)realizes the transmission of compressed Image in a client-server way;(4)through the detection algorithm of moving object,achieves the effect of automatic monitoring and simulated alarm;(5)the image and video are embedded in the web page,and then viewed and played in the web page.In general,all parts of the system have been independently tested and tested overall to achieve the intended functions.The features of the thesis are:(1)the operating environment is optimized with a script to make the system more convenient to operate;(2)the hardware and software are coordinated by the web-based technology of hardware control,and finally the display of the monitoring image and video on the web-end is realized;(3)using the optimization algorithm to achieve early warning and circle orientation of the moving target;(4)the system's design scheme is concise and clear,and thus it is suitable for various embedded application scenarios.
