The indispensable element in digital signal processing is function signal generator.The function signal generator is used in various fields around us,including electronic industry,industrial control,vehicle-mounted,aerospace and medical field.In this paper,the output of various waveforms based on FPGA function signal generator is implemented and the waveform is tested.Is mainly the output frequency,amplitude,duty cycle,phase,heat dissipation,rise along the fall along the time,the wave variable,such as performance testing,test is whether the experimental specimens meet the control requirements.The signal generator based on FPGA has been designed and developed,and the technical parameters of the product can be realized by testing and testing the function.The main purpose of this design is to study the use of FPGA to better implement DDS algorithm.Direct digital frequency synthesis(DDS)is a new digital frequency synthesis technology which consists of phase accumulator,waveform memory,digital analog converter and low pass filter.Is implemented as follows: first of all,the waveform data is stored in ROM table inside the FPGA,and K by setting the frequency control word,through the accumulation phase accumulator,addressing ROM table,read ROM the waveform data is stored in the table,and finally after transformation and low pass filter/a output.On the basis of DDS algorithm,the modulating,phase-shifting,and changing of the ratio and other modules can be used to realize the signal generator which can adjust frequency,adjust phase,amplitude modulation and change the proportion of air ratio.
