With the high development of technology in the modern society,electronic office has become an indispensable choice in corporate office.More and more companies need a lot of hardware devices such as laptops,desktops,tablets,or mobile phones and other non-hardware devices to improve their office efficiency.However,purchasing a large amount of electronic equipments at one time is a huge challenge for the company's budget.Therefore,in order to meet industry requirements,the company has launched a business for rental devices:Device as a service.In order to meet the needs of customers,it mainly provides customers with two types of business scenarios:financial leasing and operating leasing.Customers are mainly from North America and Western Europe.In multinational corporations,how to manage such complex business scenarios within the company is also a huge challenge.Multi-customer,multi-country,multi-scenario services require a reliable customer relationship management system for management.This article describes the system that needs to be implemented for this project:Device as a service which provides a complete solution for this purpose.The entire project development process is documented,starting with the project's background and objectives,and then introducing the development platform,as well as the business requirements,high level design,technology implementation,and testing process for the entire project.The project is mainly developed on the Salesforce system and its main business covers North America and Western Europe.In this project,the following functions of the system were finally realized:After the business staff determined the lease relation ship for the customer,the opportunity is created for this rental business of the customer,and then select the business scenario.After negotiating with the customer,a quotation is successfully created for the business staff to create a master order for the customer.Child orders are created when hardware products and non-hardware products are shipped to the customer's office.Billing begins on the day when child order becomes effective.In addition,business staff can also transfer,return,or replace products for customers based on actual business conditions.When the lease relationship is established and the leased product begins to be used,an invoice can be generated for the customer.If there is a fee that needs to be returned to the customer,a credit memo will be created.At present,the basic functions of this project have been implemented and successfully used on the production environment,and in order to better meet the needs of business staff,the project is still iteratively improved.
