In the past few decades,the grid cell exists in the entorhinal cortex and the place cell exists in the hippocampus were found in succession.How does entorhinal cortex cell develop the location coding?This problem is of great significance to research imitative intelligent robot.Entorhinal cortex and hippocampus form connection loop.The connection from hippocampus can provide preliminary space information for entorhinal cortex.Entorhinal cortex form a stable multi-scale location codes by changing the input connections strength.The internal feedback connections of entorhinal cortex can make the cell grid firing model have a unified direction.In addition to the location information,entorhinal cortex can integrate movement information that has the function of odometer.The experiment proves that the biology realize positioning through the "Brain GPS" system."Brain GPS" system is mainly composed by two function cells.one is place cells that realize the goal of tag,the other is grid cells that provide place cells coordinate system.These two kinds of cells are associated with brain cognitive function in spatial orientation,constituting the navigation and positioning system of the brain.With the mature of biological technology,the applications of bionics to autonomous navigation equipment become the new direction of the development of the mobile device.This subject mainly study the self organization model of grid cells.The research ideas and thoughts follow the process from simple to difficult.First of all,I reasearched the firing of grid cell that only receive the input from place cell in the process of one dimensional motion.The connection between place cell and grid cell is determined by the hebb learning rule.The model can autonomously learn the form of sine connection.The grid cell realize the location information coding.Secondly,I reasearched the firing of grid cell that receive the input from place cell and speed cell in the process of one dimensional motion.In rat along a straight line motion process,grid cell realizes coding for the speed and position information at the same time.At last,I reasearched the firing of grid cell that receive the input from place cell and other grid cell in the process of two dimensional planar motion.The conclusions and perspectives are presented in the end of the thesis.
