Design And Implementation Of Network Switch Log Collection And Analysis System For Shougang Mining Company

In recent years,the informatization technology of Shougang Mining Company has been applied constantly,in the production system,document processing,financial accounting,human resources,transportation,materials,quality and measurement system.The informatization technology has penetrated into every corner of the company's daily work and production.Informatization has brought plenty of benefits and convenience to the company in production,operation and management and the continuous development of it has also led directly to the continuous construction and extension of the corporate LAN.Multiple network coverage has been realized in the main production and management points to finally form a vast network with complex structure and a large number of nodes.Currently,since the company's network has been closely connected with the production management,to ensure the stability and security of the network has become the key task for the company.The thesis takes the Shougang Mining Company's network as the background,outlines the significance of the switch log to the network operation and maintenance and the problems found when the network administrators are checking and analyzing the switch logs,like the large quantity of logs,the inconvenience in checking,poor readability and so on.Then,according to the features of the company's network architecture,the problems and demand found in the daily network maintenance,switch log collection and analysis system is designedand developed in the thesis.According to software engineering project process,the thesis is divided into several chapters to discuss and expound the system requirement analysis,system design,function module construction and system testing in detail.In the construction of the system,to facilitate easy use and portability,the system adopts JAVA in the program development and adopts SQL Server as its database so as to enhance the ease of use and cross-platform portability of the system.In chapter of system testing,it introduces the setup of the operation environment and deployment of the system and then the system test is conducted in the aspects of system functionality and performance.The test results confirm that the functionality and performance of the system are in line with the expectation,so it can be applied in the actual network environment of Shougang Mining Company.The switch log collection and analysis system designed in the thesis has facilitated the centralized management of the switches,firewalls and routers in the network of the Shougang Mining Company and realized display of the log by scale,trend analysis,log emergency warning and other functions,so it can help the network administrators to take control of the network operation all the time by providing effective system data and help them to find the potential failure in the network.In the end,the thesis draws a conclusion and predicts the prospect of further research.
