Since 1980's,marketization reform in the field of pharmaceutical-circulation has made the competition among pharmaceutical companies intense.After the entrance of WTO,it becomes white-hot with foreign companies.How to take advantage of information and network technology to improve management,pass GSP(Good Supply Practice)certification and obtain competitive edge is a very important and urgent problem that many pharmaceutical companies face.New GSP came into force on June 1st,2013.This regulation is a basic rule in the standard management of quality for pharmaceutical companies and includes specific instructions on MIS(management information system).Company F is a large-scale wholesale pharmaceutical company with multiple subsidiaries.Like other similar companies,F is in urgent need of new GSP-based MIS in order to achieve managerial excellence.Based on this background,we research on the analysis and design of MIS for Company F.This text mainly applies Object-Oriented Technology(OOT)and also involves Structured Technology and Service-Oriented Architecture(SOA).First,the related theories are indroduced including GSP,C/S(client/server),B/S(browser/server)and non-functional requirements of ISO/IEC 2501.The system architecture of Company F is chosen by comparison of C/S,B/S and other structures.Maintainability of non-functional requirements of ISO/IEC 2501 is emphasized.Second,this text analyzes the requirements including GSP requirements and functional requirements.The functional requirements cover the steps stipulated by new GSP,such as purchase,receiving,check,store,maintaining,warehouse-out inspection and transportation.Other requirements like data encoding specification and fast input mechanism are also introduced.Third,according to above requirements analysis the MIS is designed including partitioning of system functional modules,selection of system architecture and design of database.Fourth,the system is designed in details and the interfaces of most modules are explained with pictures.Finally,the system of Company F is summarized and evaluated.After three years' implementation,the MIS of company F has gradually matured and performs well in the aspect of maintainability and reliability.The quality management,decision-making,work efficiency and customer satisfaction of company F are all improved.
