In 2000,IETF grouping work designed Stream Control Transport Protocol(SCTP).Most of the business data transmission of IP network is acoompllished through TCP or UDP,which people are familiar,however,TCP and UDP can not meet the needs of people's network demand.Subsequently,the research shows that SCTP is not the real realization of the multi-path courrent transimission,while CMT-SCTP can do that.The research of oriented difference path of path selection is mainly to adapt to the difference of network route in reality.The existed multi-path selection algorithm has yet to be improved,in order to higher throughtput and higher transmission efficiency.In addition,the research of the existed CMT-SCTP is till stay in the network simulation stage.P.E.L has completed the open source sever Apache and the browser FireFox modified,the modified Apache and FireFox support CMT-SCTP.In this thesis,the multi-path selection algorithm studied,and through a lot of domestic and foreign literature,it is fully understood the existed multi-path seletion algorithm.The standard CMT-SCTP provides that all paths in the association need to be involved in data transmission.Through the research of these algorithms,it is found that the existed multi-path selection algorithm needs to be further improved.For example,transport layer protocols is the SCTP,but the SCTP is not truly multipath courrent transmission.In addition,the assumption of the condition is generally inconsistent with the actual situation,which will increase the results of the simulation and actual application of the gap.This thesis implements the file transfer system,and the advantages of the CMT-SCTP and optimized multi-path selection algortighm are further demonstrated.Therefore,this thesis presents an oriented difference paths of multi-path selection(CMT-DPS)algorithm.When the difference between the paths is large,the path of the poor quality will not be selected to participate in the transmission of data,and it is simulated through NS2.The efficiency of the existing algorithms is greatly reduced when the path parameters difference is large,while the CMT-DPS improves the thoughput of the overall correlation,and the delay between request terminal and receive terminal is obvious reduced compared with other multi-path selection algorithms.In addition,it is necessary to complete that modify the the part of path selection of FireFox and Apache.This thesis implements the CMT-DPS based file transfer system.And the advantages of CMT-DPS is verified by expertiments.In this thesis,I design and implement an orientd difference paths of mulit-path selection(CMT-DPS)and the file transfer system based on CMT-SCTP.Finally,the thesis summarizes the whole and the prospect of the research,and then makes a note of the shortcomings of the study,and then determines the future direction of study and work.
