Owing to the need of work, universities and other research institutions buy use right from electronic literature database, such as Elsevier,IEEE,Springer,ACM,etc..Database service providers charge money from universities according to the downloading traffic.Because of the lacking of traffic statistics, universities are in a passive position. In addition, there is much of repeat traffic because the resource is not shared to the other users, which increases the universities' economic burden and the networking payload. This paper designs and implements the electronic literature resource sharing and monitoring system so as to solve the existing problems mentioned above. The system contains both background service system and cloud service system.Firstly, the background service system can achieve the function of traffic statistics.Next, when the request resource exists in background server,it will interrupt the connection between user and the original database server by SYN attack and redirect the user's downloading request to background server via session hijacking. The hybrid P2P architecture is used in cloud service system. The center server is responsible for resource integration. All of the users from university partners can obtain electronic literature resource from cloud platform. In order to make no influence on the topology of campus network, electronic literature resource sharing and monitoring system is deployed in the bypass of gateway by port mirroring, that is,mirroring the up and down traffic to background server and achieving the function mentioned above by capturing and analyzing the packet.By testing, the system can achieve the purpose of traffic statistics, resource sharing in single network, which decreases the downloading traffic and improves the downloading speed.Multiple university partners can share resource to each other based on cloud service system.
