The development of embedded and communication technologies is bringing people more smart devices,while the Internet of Things(IoT),which is considered as another information revolution,has grabbed the attention of many scholars and researchers and its application is making people's lives increasingly convenient.However,the industry's focus on vertical growth and lack of communication between different systems has seriously impeded the popularization and improvement of IoT applications.Moreover,with a number of smart devices accessed to IoT systems,how to get the information users need from huge amounts of data is an issue of crucial importance.The IoT researchers drew inspiration from social networking services for they were remarkably successful in sharing data and resources.It struck to them that they could build a Social Internet of Things(SIoT)by combining social networks services(SNS)and IoT,which they believe would significantly promote the development of Internet of Things.Currently there appears to be a tendency that engineers access IoT to the hottest social platforms with the help of these platforms' account systems.This paper proposes a solution,namely agent-based social Internet of Things access system,to realize the idea of SIoT.The agent-based social access system consists of sensing layer,IoT platform,social agent and social networks services.Sensing layer is composed of sensor nodes with sensing,computing and execution capabilities.The IoT platform is the network of communication and interaction between hardware devices.The data and service of sensing layer will be abstracted into unified accessible resource by internet of things for the establishment of Internet of things applications.In this paper,Web of Things and ThingWorx are both used to build agent-based social access system,which would then be tested and analyzed.This system realizes communication between IoT and SNS through the social agent.The social agent,which mainly consists of resource access layer,service composition layer,social access layer and database,is the key to this system for it fulfills communication between the IoT platforms and social networks services.This paper uses WeChat hardware platform as the development platform for the system.This paper has a certain reference for the research and realization of social internet of things.
