Research On The College Student Financial Assistance And Service System Of Huaqiao University From The Perspective Of Educational Equity

Education is the basis of people's livelihood.Education equity is necessary to build a harmonious society and a moderately prosperous society.Education equity is the cornerstone of social justice,the premise of social sharing,and the security of social integration.From education equity theory,the equality of educational opportunities is the starting point of education equity;relatively equal education effect is diligently pursuit of education.The financial aid system of colleges and universities for students with financial difficulties is an important measure to ensure the equality of educational opportunity.Huaqiao University has formed a diversified financial aid system including scholarships,loans,part-time job,special difficulties subsidy,green channel etc.In recent years,about 4500 students from poor families have been effectively protected to fulfill the higher education annually.On the other hand,there are still many problems such as lack of propaganda,imperfection of management mechanism and so on.The research ideas and contents of this paper are as follows:the first part is introduction.This part mainly expounds the reason of the topic selection,the research question,the main concept,the research innovation and the insufficiency,as well as the research mentality and the research method.The second part is theoretical basis.This paper expounds the theory of educational equity,and analyzes the relationship between educational equity and college student financial assistance service system.At the same time,builds the evaluation criteria of college student financial assistance system under the guidance of educational equity theory.The third part analyzes the present situation,existing problems and main causes of the student aid service system of Huaqiao University.In the fourth part,the author analyzes the positive practice of student aid work in other colleges and universities.The fifth part,combined with the theory of educational equity,analyzes and proposes the suggestions and Countermeasures to improve the student aid service system of Huaqiao University.The sixth part is the conclusion.The paper summarizes the research results,points out the existing problems and the possibility and direction of further research.The author believes the evaluation criteria of college student financial assistance system under the guidance of educational equity theory has theoretical basis and practical significance.The evaluation of the funding system of Huaqiao University has some operability.At the same time,the consummations and counter measuresfor improving student aid service system of Huaqiao University learning from the practice of other colleges and universities have certain significances.
