Mobile communications driven by the market and technology are rapidly changing developing.At present,the fifth generation mobile communication technology(5G)has gradually moved from laboratory to commercial application.However,the shortness of the base station site resources means that the antenna layout should be shared with each other;and it should reduce the antenna size as much as possible.Therefore,the design of a miniaturized broadband dual-polarized base station antenna radiation unit and 5G oriented antenna radiation unit have an important significance for the further development of dual polarized base station antenna.In this thesis,a miniaturized broadband dual-polarization base station antenna is selected as a research topic.A miniaturized broadband dual-polarized radiation unit working in the band width from 1.71 GHz to 2.69 GHz is designed;a 5G oriented base station antenna radiation unit is designed with the band width from 2.5GHz to 3.6GHz.The major contents of the thesis can be summarized as follows:(1)A simulation and design process of a novel miniaturized broadband dualpolarized radiation unit working in the band width from 1.71 GHz to 2.69 GHz based on the theory of antenna is proposed in the thesis.The simulated results of HFSS indicate that all the electrical properties of the radiation unit meet the the requirements of industry standards.The radiation unit works in the band width from 1.71 GHz to 2.69 GHz.Its voltage standing wave ratio(VSWR)is less than 1.5.Its gain is more than 8dBi and isolation of the two port/polarization is less than-25 dB.It shows a stable pattern within the frequency band.What is more important,its size reduces 32%.Then through the production of physical testing,the design is verified its practicality.(2)A base station antenna radiation unit is designed with the frequency band width from 2.5GHz to 3.6GHz is design for new requirements for 5G.The simulation of HFSS proves that the band width of this radiation unit is from 2.5GHz to3.6GHz,and that its VSWR less than 1.4,and that its gain greater than 8dBi,and that its isolation less than-26 dB.The design and simulation meet the industry standards.(3)A feed network based on phase shifter is designed in the thesis.The feed network can be put into practical application of base station antennas with electrical downdip 2°-7°and the band width from 1.71 GHz to 2.69 GHz.The feed network is tested and verified with practical application.
