Abstract/Summary:
Traditional single-layer coverage of the LTE macro base station can not meet the requirements of the business data rate and the ever-increasing capacity of the user in the small coverage environment.LTE small base station for the user of small coverage environment or special areas to obtain faster data rates and more data capacity,small base stations will increase users and reduce energy consumption costs.In this thesis,I will use the DSP chip(BSC9132)that made by Freescale as the hardware platform to develop LTE-FDD small base station,the small base station can be widely used in buildings or intensive areas.LTE small base station is a whole system,which includes physical layer,L2 layer,L3 layer,etc.This thesis only contain the physical uplink control layer process technology and DSP implementation.Firstly,this thesis analyzes and gives the receiving process of the physical uplink control channel according to the protocol.Secondly,i will discuss the optimization of software algorithm in the process of realization,and uses the hardware accelerator to complete the link processing process stipulated by TS.36.211 protocol.The interface between the physical layer and the L2 layer are described.Lastly,I will do the test on the demo board,the functional test of in the single-core.The designs has been used to develop the small base station.This thesis focuses on the implementation of this project,using a piece of the chip to handle the LTE physical layer uplink control link baseband operation.Physical layer link can be used to achieve the algorithm or the combination the MAPLE-B2 P baseband acceleration(MAPLE)to achieve,The design process takes the principle of efficiency first.At the end of this thesis,I give the DSP implementation of the small base station.
