Nowadays,increasingly importance has been attached to cloud computing technology all around the world including China.Especially,OpenStack,as one of the most popular open source cloud project,is the base of many companies to set up cloud platforms.By the cloud platform,the virtual machine can be managed,and the hardware can be virtualized.What's more,the utilization rate of the resources can be increased.And the high availability can be achieved to ensure the service.In this thesis,the high availabilityof the cloud computing platform of OpenStack is selected as the research topic.The main contents can be summarized as follows:(1)By comparing and analyzing the main popular cloud computing platform,OpenStack is chosen to set up the cloud computing platform.(2)This thesis introduces communication modes of OpenStack,the main components of OpenStack.As a result,OpenStack has been deeply understood.(3)The high availability had been realized to ensure cloud computing platform when the controller nodes,the database nodes and the RabbitMQ nodes have something wrong.The high availability of HAProxy which was use to ensure others' had also been realized.(4)At last,the function and performance had been tested.It shows that the cloud computing platform can work normally.The innovations and practicalities for this work can be summarized as follows:(1)The platform can realize the virtualization of the sources to use the resources elastically and reduce hardware cost.(2)The high availability can protect the cloud platform from breakdown.(3)The total testing had been done,and the main influencing factors of performance and high availability have been analyzed.And it proved that the HA policy can ensure the operation of the cloud computing platform via testing.
