With the popularization of digital video and television technology,people gradually have demanding requirements on video.The traditional video processing technology has been unable to meet the requirements because of its poorly made production and simple special effects.Collecting digital video signals,the computer can process the video information with special effects.In this way,the video can be broadcast with various special effects and better visual effects.Therefore,the digital video signal acquisition has become an important research field of video processing.This paper has conducted the research on the digital video acquisition card based on PCI bus and puts forward the design scheme of video acquisition card.The scheme focuses on the design of video capture card,including the hardware,software and drivers parts:The hardware design of PCI bus-based digital video acquisition card includes cable equalization,clock recovery,FPGA and bridging chip.In this design,GS9074 is used to realize the wire balancing effect;CLC016 is used to realize the extraction of clock function;the Cyclone 2 generation chip instead of EP2C20Q240C8 is:used for FPGA main chip and PEX8112 for FPGA bridge chip;PCI is transferred to PCI Express so that the board caid is connected to the computer via PCI-E slot.The hardware design of PCI bus-based digital video acquisition card includes the SDI receiving module,data conversion module,clock generation module and other parts.SDI signals enter the board card through the BNC interface and then enter the FPGA main chip after GS9074 chip equalization.The serial SDI data with the speed of 270Mbit/s goes through the SDI receiving module,data conversion module and the clock generation module so that the data is converted into 66MHZ 32 bit parallel data.After conversion,data is collected through the PCI interface of PC machine.The driving program of the PCI bus-based digital video acquisition is designed with the WinDriver tool.In the Windriver tool,the wizard can be used to design the framework of the user program,in which the required functions can be added.In conclusion,this paper completes the design of digital video acquisition card based on PCI bus,provides excellent hardware and flexible software interface for image acquisition and transmission.The video acquisition card has high practical value and can be used for a variety of video image acquisition occasions.
