Research And Design Of OA Platform For Middle School Administration

With the development of computer,network and communication technology,the informatization process of the whole society is accelerating.Schools,enterprises and government departments have built their own working network,and have developed office automation systems to achieve a rapid,efficient,flexible and collaborative office environment.Junior and senior schools are responsible for the national basic education.In order to improve the efficiency of school administration and accelerate the pace of school development,by use of the information and network technologic,an OA system suitable for the middle school where the author works is investigated and designed.Based on the needs analysis,the users are divided into five types from the view of administration management,including president,vice president,and head of department,ordinary staff and system administrator.Back-stage management web pages with different function modules and interfaces are designed for different user types according to their diverse needs.We use ASP.NET in Visual Studio 2008 environment for program development,and create database and data tables using SQL Server 2005.A B/S-structured 3-layer(presentation layer,logic layer and data layer)system was developed,with multiple functions including announcement management,file management,attendance management,educational administration,etc.Against specificity of administration management under the middle school education environment,System designed a political work management functions.Mainly for information input,and aggregation,and publish for students and classroom management in school daily work.These information for teachers and parents of students at the school to keep abreast of the situation,respond to emergencies and targeted education have a very important meaning.The developed system has integrated the SMS interface and achieved group messaging function,by which all the school staff can be simultaneously informed via the system,which was a problem to the school leaders for a long time before.Meanwhile,a FTP system was established for data sharing and users can login inside or outside the school network.Through tests and trial use of the developed system,the straightforward UI style and easiness with operation is favorably commented by the users.The test result indicated that the developed system generally meets the needs of the school's daily administration management and communication,and is practically effective to improve the working efficiency and education quality.
