From 2G to 3G,then 4G,telecommunications networks becomes more and more dense,and the urban function is highly concentrated,which result in the scarcity of land,so it is hard for the three operators to obtain the ideal place to construct signal tower.Due to 4G's high frequency characteristics,the situation is worse in the 4G era.The tower density of 4G can be two times more than that of 2G/3G.The three operators jointly set up a tower company to optimize base station use.Not only for optimization the use of the original base station,but also for selection of appropriate base station position for a new base station,we need detailed and accurate information of location of all base stations.Because of various reasons,the existing base station location information of three operators is not completed.How to make rational use of technical means and the existing data to automatically get location information of existing base station is the content of this research.On the basis of our communication model and a large number of road test data accumulated by three operators and some location known base station,we choose the appropriate frequency by fitting and determine the parameter in the outlier algorithm by traversing.Finally,based on the optimized model and outlier algorithm,we calculated the rest of the base station location information with three point positioning and outlier detection algorithm.The main work of this paper includes the following contents:1.The road test data cleaning,including data filtering,coordinate correction,data discretization and geographic average;2.To optimize the Walfish-Ikegami propagation model,we put forward the frequency parameter.Then on the basis of a small number of location known base station and the road test data,fit all the model of different frequency,and choose the best model as the final model;3.We redefine the concept of the outlier in the outlier algorithm.On the basis of optimized propagation model,we calculate the locations of some base station by three point positioning,then modify the parameter in the outlier algorithm,calculate the location of different parameters,through the comparison,select the parameter that the error is smallest;4.Adopting the optimized propagation model and outlier algorithm to process the rest measurement data,to calculate base station location information by using the three point positioning and outlier detection algorithm.One mobile corporation's road test data is used to test and verify our method.By using the optimized model,more than 3000 base stations' location information were calculated.The calculation result of the 20 base station location information is compared with real data;the average deviation is less than 50 meters.The result is acceptable.
