With the rapid development of information technology,scientific computing has become the third largest scientific research means after the theoretical analysis and experimental observation,there are generating a large number of computer-aided engineering software applications,so how to manage of these software License in the cloud platform has become one of the hot topics.However,the License management system is generally configured and managed via the command line which has many disadvantages,such as it is requiring better knowledge and skills,difficult to learn,complex to use,etc.How to facilitate the use of CAE License and other cloud computing resources is a major concern for users.Combined with the actual needs of the National Science and Technology S upport Program,the main goal focus on the design and implementation of the CAE License management middleware,and reducing the difficulty on using the CAE resources,improving the utilization of other computing resources and License.The main works are as following:1)Designed a multilayer M/M/c queuing model to describe the CAE License allocation problem based on the supercomputing hardware and software system architecture and the random task environments feature in cloud,and the statistical analysis of latency cloud environment task execution time and queue length and other characteristics.2)Introduced the individual needs to the users License resource allocation algorithm in the cloud,including the task of waiting time,run time of task costs and load-balancing three aspects tradeoff allocation of resources,making the program more rational resource scheduling License.3)According to operational requirements of the CAE super-computing cloud platform,proposed a license scheduling strategy based on user utility,and the experiment was carried out based on CloudSim simulation platform for validated the strategy,analyzed and validated the model and algorithm effective.Experimental results showed that effectiveness under the situation of ensuring users utility,could effectively reduce the waiting time for the job and partition load balancing.4)According to the subject mission requirements,the use of applications and service oriented architecture hierarchical thinking concept,design ed the License Management Middleware architecture,and implement ed middleware system.Experimental results show that the algorithms improve the utilization of resources and user satisfaction,and meet the individual needs of different users based on user scheduling License utility effectively with the realization,.In addition,the system provides the middleware via WebService cloud platform servic es to CAE for friendly interface provides the basis for display.All these benefits illustrate that our proposed algorithms and systems will be widely used in practical applications.
