The Analysis Of Research Progress In The Field Of Network Security

With the advancing of computer network technology and the rapid development of e-commerce,the emerging of internet products such as mobile Internet,mobile payment,mobile communications have brought great convenience to people's lives in 21st century.However,there are many hidden security troubles,which threat to the privacy of internet users,the property security of internet users and the normal development of Internet.Chinese government has upgraded the network to the national security strategy,which will lead to a new round of the academic research network security boom in 2014.As this a background,the paper use the knowledge mapping method to research the field of network security in the last five years.First this paper introduces the related theories and software of knowledge mapping,which lay a theoretical foundation for using knowledge mapping to analyze the field of network security.Then,as Web of Science a data source,the article obtains the last five years'bibliography data of network security including author,keywords,reference and so on.Based on the obtained data,the article does a quantitative analysis of current research in the field of network security and gets the research situations from output of literature per year,core authors,nation/region distribution,core agencies,core journals to the cited literature.After that,the article focuses on the top 100 high frequency keywords to research the hotspot and the knowledge cluster and gets 39 hot keywords and 14 clusters,then the article analyses these hot keywords and clusters.At the end of the article,the author carries on a summary and forecast to the total contents.The contribution of this article is introducing the method of knowledge mapping into network security field.It not only enriches the application of knowledge mapping,but also brings scholars of network security a new perspective to evaluate their subject,which is no longer only rely on peer review or Delphi or other qualitative methods,but also uses the quantitative methods of knowledge mapping,combining the qualitative and quantitative methods to analyze the research of network security field.
