Facing an increasingly urgent demand for technical talents from all walks of life,the importance of vocational education becomes apparent under the continuous acceleration of China's industrial upgrading and economic structure adjustment.Many vocational colleges have introduced advanced information technology in teaching to accelerate talent development.Especially utilizing the teaching method of virtual-reality fusion environment has become a future trend in vocational education.In the past,the research articles about the virtual-reality fusion environment on vocational education mostly focused on the construction of the environment,but less concerned about the application in the education field.The purpose of this research is to explore the influence of virtual-reality fusion environment on vocational education and propose relevant strategies for teachers through analyzing one case about the application of this method.Firstly I determined the research background,defined related concepts,and raised the issues through reviewing some relevant literature.Additionally,the “Canned Cycle”,one unit of “CNC Milling”,was selected as one typical case of virtual-reality fusion environment teaching model to analyze from the 4 aspects – teaching activities,teaching environment,the interaction between teachers and students,and skills evaluation.Finally,I put forward an effective strategy about the virtual-reality fusion environment on vocational education,depending on some tools such as the class observation,optimized Flanders interactive analysis system,Super Star Learning App,and skills evaluation form.According to these analyses,the application of virtual-reality fusion environment on vocational teaching could effectively solve many problems that happened in traditional teaching,including “hard to observe,hard to train,and lack equipment”.This method could produce an experiential experience for students,substantially increase the interaction between students and teachers,and significantly promote training skills.The application strategies of virtual-reality fusion environment on vocational education should have the following features:(1)turning the “onlookers” teaching model into the “participatory experience” model to highlight the importance of students;(2)using open questions as learning tasks to guide students thinking and increase the interaction between teachers and students;(3)seamlessly integrating virtual and real environment make the study sustainable and enhance skills level;(4)adopting diversified evaluation techniques to stimulate students considering from multiple dimensions and promote skills development.
