“Poetic language” is a more distinctive teaching ideal that comes into being under the background of new curriculum reform.It represents a dynamic and energetic Chinese teaching.Since Mr.Wang Songzhou put forward this idea,it has been widely praised and supported by teachers and experts.“Poetic language" emphasizes the aesthetic value and humanistic value contained in the Chinese curriculum,and hopes to help students establish a correct world view,outlook on life and values,realize the true meaning of life,and finally find their own "poetic habitat" by cultivating students' aesthetic taste.Guided by the teaching concept of "poetic language",this paper expounds and summarizes the definition and theoretical basis of "poetic language" by means of literature analysis.At the same time,it adopts case analysis method and observation method to conduct a research on the teaching of Chinese modern and contemporary prose in junior high schools.Under the guidance of the concept of "poetic Chinese",this paper puts forward some strategies to improve the unsatisfactory status quo of modern and contemporary prose teaching in junior middle school,hoping to make poetry into the language classroom,truly achieve "the unity of instrumentality and humanity",let the students in the modern and contemporary prose teaching class true feel the true,good,beautiful implication from the "poetic language",cultivate students' aesthetic taste and lead students to understand life and the true meaning of life.
