At present, with the development of the new generation of information technology innovation, the intelligent and portable mobile terminal equipment has gradually replaced part of the traditional technology in people's life.Reading as the communication with the outside world in people daily life, communication and information delivery, communicate with each other and pass information to each other in daily life,is not only confined to books, newspapers and other forms, but also an endless stream of electronic reading channels.Under the trend that this kind of paper reading medium is abandoned by the mainstream of the society, and screen reading changes people's reading habits step by step, whether the reading effect will be different due to different reading media, and at the same time, whether the different interface operation and presentation mode in screen reading will affect the reading effect. In this context, the topic of study is selected.Screen reading is divided into screen scrolling reading and screen page-turning reading, and the reading effects of screen reading and paper reading are studied.By comparing the differences of reading effects of different media, this paper lays an empirical foundation for students to read scientifically.According to the cognitive development level and learning characteristics of senior students in primary schools, study compiled and tested the reading test questions that met the experimental requirements, and carried out a six-week educational experiment on narrative and narrative, the main types of articles that grade 5 students read.Reading media and article type were taken as independent variables, and reading score as dependent variables. In order to make the experimental data valid, all the variables of the experimental control except the reading media were consistent. The purpose of this study is to explore the differences in the effects of reading media among senior primary school students and to provide a scientific basis for improving reading efficiency in the information age.To explore the differences of reading effects amongsenior students in primary school when reading different types of articles using different reading media.According to the study:1.There is a significant difference in the total reading effect of three types of reading: page turning reading, scrolling reading, paper reading. The reading effect of on-screen reading medium is significantly better than that of paper-based reading medium, and the specific reading effect is page turning reading?scrolling reading>paper reading.2.In terms of narrative reading effect, the effect of students using different reading media is significantly different, and the screen reading effect is better than the paper reading effect.Specifically, the reading performance of the three is page turning reading>scrolling reading>paper reading.3.In terms of expository reading effect, students use three reading media with significant differences. The reading effect of students reading paper is better than that of reading screen, which is shown as paper reading> page turning reading?scrolling reading.4.In terms of gender and satisfaction, there was no significant difference among the three reading media. This study enriches the research on the effect comparison between screen reading and paper reading, provides empirical basis for the research on the reading effect of senior grade primary school students and provides more reasonable and referable suggestions for the reading media selection of senior grade primary school students.
