With the extensive process of new curriculum reform,the traditional classroom teaching mode on geography with teacher's instruction at the core and method of“cramming education” can not adapt to the teaching requirements on geography in junior high school.The geography curriculum standards for compulsory education has put forward diversified teaching modes and methods on geography clearly to transform the studying way of students,so that students can become the main body of classroom,and teachers become the pacemaker.As to situational teaching,it is based on the teaching materials and curriculum standards to set up the related study situation with the content on the class,so that it can help students to improve their cognitive ability and logical thinking ability,which is a teaching method to help students have easy learning and promote professional development of teachers.Under the background of new curriculum education concept,by means of the reviewing on the related documents,with the combination of my own teaching practice,I think situational teaching is suitable to the physiological and psychological characteristics of junior high school students,which can be usable to motivate the enthusiasm of students in the study of geography by introducing it into the geography classroom and enhance the efficiency of learning.Therefore,the research on the application of situational teaching in the geography teaching in junior high school is to explore the diverse teaching ways on geography,so that it can further promote the high-efficient and interesting implementation.As to this research,with the integration of theory and practice as the guidance,according to my own teaching experience and feeling,by means of literature research method,and case study method,it has deep research on the application of situational teaching in the geography teaching in junior high school.During the research process,firstly,it reviews a large quantity of literature about situational teaching,has definitions on situation,situational teaching,and situational teaching in junior high school geography,and introduces the research process of it,and then,on the basis of it,it illustrates the basic views of situational teaching in the application of geography teaching in junior high school,and designs the research thoughts and methods.Secondly,through reading and collecting materials,it puts forward the theoretical basis of the research on the application of situational teaching in geography teaching in junior highschool,and then,from the constructivism learning theory,humanistic theory,and situated cognition theory,it illustrates the important significance of situational teaching in the application of geography teaching in junior high school.Thirdly,combining the situational teaching theory and the features of junior high school geography,it comes up with the application rules and strategies of situational teaching in the application of geography teaching in junior high school.Finally,according to the theoretical framework and operation mode of situational teaching in the geography teaching in junior high school,it has design and analysis on the application and cases about situational teaching in the geography teaching in junior high school,puts forward the evaluation methodology of situational teaching on the basis of three-dimensional object in the geography teaching in junior high school,has feedback on the application effects of situational teaching in the geography teaching in junior high school,and has expectation on it,which points out the direction for the further completion and improvement on the research.Through this research,it can find that the application of situational teaching in the geography teaching in junior high school optimizes the geography teaching methods in junior high school,so that there are full of interest,reflection,and originality in the class,and then,it can further realize high-efficiency;besides,it promotes the professional development of teachers,and improves the professional quality and research ability of teachers,which are beneficial to improve the teaching level of junior high school geography;and finally,it creates the atmosphere for the study of geography,enhances the learning efficiency of geography,helps students to have the construction of geography knowledge actively and happily,and promotes the comprehensive development of students intellectually and psychologically.With the integration of achievements from the application research on the situational teaching in geography teaching in junior high school and confusion in actual teaching,it puts forward the points of focus to be improved and completed in later teaching research,which include the following aspects: firstly,during the implementation process of situational teaching in the classroom,students are enthusiastic and active,but teachers have to consider how to control a moderate degree and do well in classroom management;secondly,teachers have to be conscientious in teaching,pay attention to the effectiveness of case reference,so that they shall study more,and supplement and complete the materials of situational teaching in geography;and thirdly,when implementing situational teaching,teachers have to focus on the emotional experience of students,maintain it to be close to the life of students and suitable to the recognition development of them,and know about their real demands.These points of focus to be improved are also my direction for further research and completion,which can promote the better application and development of situational teaching in the geography teaching in junior high school.
