As China's national strength continues to grow and the“Belt and Road”initiative is proposed,more and more countries have strengthened language and cultural exchanges and cooperation with China,and the international education of Chinese language has also developed rapidly.The issue of "three teachings"(textbooks,teachers,teaching methods)has always been an important and hot topic affecting the development of Chinese international education.The question of teachers is the top priority of the "three teachings" problem,and it has always been a hot topic in academic circles.International Chinese teachers are the main force for the spread of Chinese culture.The quality of international Chinese teachers is an important factor affecting the spread of Chinese culture.At present,issues such as the number of international Chinese teachers and teachers' quality are important issues affecting the development of Chinese international education.Chinese sages who immigrated to Cambodia in the early days,in order to inherit Chinese culture,set up Chinese schools in various parts of Cambodia,and Chinese education began from then on.At present,Cambodia is a large Chinese language learning country in Southeast Asia,and its Chinese education business is also constantly developing.Every year,Hanban of China sends volunteers and public teachers to Cambodia,but Cambodia's teacher supply gap is still very large.Compared with foreign teachers,local teachers have incomparable advantages in various aspects such as language and resource utilization,so they are also considered to be the main force for the development of Chinese education in Cambodia.This article is to research and investigate the local Chinese teachers in Chinese schools in Cambodia.Since the author is working as a volunteer Chinese teacher in Cambodia,it is convenient to investigate the current situation of Cambodian Chinese teachers using questionnaires and interviews.The thesis also explores the problem and deficiencies in the development process,puts forward suggestions for improvement.It is hoped to promote local Chinese Teacher development and the development of Cambodian Chinese education.After investigation,it has been found that the following problems exist in the development of Cambodian Chinese language teachers: the salaries of local Chinese language teachers are not satisfactory,the situation of teacher turnover is serious,and teachers are scarce;the level of professional teaching of local Chinese language teachers is not high,and they lack teaching experience and professional related Chinese teaching training Teaching methods need to be diversified.In view of the above problems,this article puts forward suggestions for improvement: First,improve the treatment level of local Chinese teachers.Adopting a link between teaching level and salary,according to the different educational background,HSK,teaching age and other conditions,adopting a salary difference system,combining evaluation andprioritization and reward system,to improve the level of local Chinese teachers and stimulate local Chinese teaching enthusiasm;As to the training of Chinese teachers.Hanban can strengthen cooperation with the Cambodian Chinese Council to adjust the training duration and location of local Chinese teachers;adjust the training content and increase the proportion of courses in teaching method training;increase the training of local Chinese teachers and attract more local Chinese teachers to join the ranks of Chinese education.
