In recent years,Chinese economy got rapid development,with bilateral political and economic and cultural exchanges frequently and thoroughly,and the Myanmar people higher learning Chinese enthusiasm is not only in Myanmar,the Chinese began to learn a foreign language,a native of Myanmar is more and more in-depth study of Chinese,such as the Kengtung area of Myanmar.In recent years,the main force to learn Chinese in addition to Chinese students.The number of people learning Chinese is increasing,not only are Chinese ethnic groups learning Chinese,but more and more Burmese and other ethnic minorities are learning Chinese language,There is a situation that "everyone learns Chinese",To the north of Myanmar,as an example,Kengtung,in recent years,In addition to Chinese students,more and more Chinese,Burmese and other non-Chinese ethnic groups have also begun to learn Chinese.The main force of Chinese School in Kengtung area was established by the local overseas Chinese ethnic groups,so there is no school for non-Chinese students to study the second language.Therefore,the local non-Chinese students want to learn Chinese can only go to Chinese school,In order to gain a better understanding of the teaching of Chinese as a first language in the local people,this thesis makes a study on the teaching of Chinese as a first language.The main object of this study is to investigate the non-Chinese students of the two largest Chinese language schools in Kengtung area,using questionnaires and interviews.The author hope that a better summary of Kengtung area of non-Chinese students learning Chinese achievements and existing problems through the investigation,in order to put forward feasible suggestions put forward feasible suggestions for promoting Chinese learning.Firstly,this paper reviews the related works of Chinese education in Myanmar,summarizes and reviews the current situation of Chinese teaching in Myanmar.Next,this paper include the two largest Chinese schools in the area of Keng tung,from the basic situation of the school,students' situation,the curriculum,the basic situation of teachers,teaching materials,etc.,to analyze the present situation of Chinese teaching in Keng tung area.On this basis,a questionnaire survey was conducted among the non-Chinese students enrolled in Chinese schools,it focuses on the motivation of non-Chinese language learners to learn Chinese:purpose,attitude approach.Encountered in the process of learning difficulties,summarizes the non-Chinese students learning Chinese characters,and points out that Jingdong Chinese learners encounter in Chinese in the process of obstacles and problems,finally,this paper puts forward improvement suggestions for aiming at these difficulties.According to the situation of local students or from the preparation of the appropriate level of teaching materials for students,mean time,it also points out the shortcomings and limitations of this paper.
