At present,there are many problems in Chinese reading teaching,including low efficiency in class,low interest of students and lack of expectations.The main reason lies in that Chinese teachers are limited to traditional teaching methods and cannot innovate in Chinese classroom,while the most important embodiment of innovation is to set up suspense art in teaching.This paper adopts the method of action research to explore how to implement the suspense teaching method into the teaching of Chinese reading,how to maximize the advantages of the suspense teaching method to arouse the students' expectation horizon and renew their interest in Chinese classroom.The main steps of the research are as follows:First,the paper defines action research and Chinese suspense teaching method.Action research is a common method in educational research,mainly referring to the normative inquiry process carried out by the person taking action to implement a specific educational behavior;the Chinese suspense teaching method is that the teacher uses the text in the entire teaching process and activities Contradictions,contrasts and gaps in content,adopt a variety of ways to create suspense,so as to stimulate students' interest,expand students' thinking,reflect classroom wisdom,and promote a teaching method for the common development of teachers and students.The action research of the Chinese suspense teaching method is an action research method that applies the concepts and methods of the Chinese suspense teaching method to the teaching behavior,and tracks its experimental process to test the influence and effect of the suspense teaching method.Then,the paper investigates and conducts 3 experiments on the implementation of the Chinese suspense teaching method in junior middle school by the method of action research.The object of this action research is the eight(three)students of W Middle School.The model adopts Lewin's action research model.The action researchers include the author and the instructor.In order to understand the problems of teachers and students in the process of implementing suspense teaching,this study took two ways to investigate: One is to interview several teachers in the eighth grade of W Middle School to understand theirsignificance,implementation and problems of suspense teaching Opinion;The second is to investigate the students' understanding and views of the suspense teaching method through questionnaire survey.After that,there are three action studies.After the action research plan is formulated,the execution plan is followed.The text of the action research is a narrative prose("Recalling My Mother")and two masterpieces("Red Star Shines in China" and "Insects").In each round of action research,the instructor conducts classroom observation and fills out the classroom observation form according to the indicators.After each action research,there will be corresponding teaching reflection.After three rounds of action research,a post-questionnaire survey was conducted and compared with the pre-test from the four main aspects of reading interest,classroom thinking activity,Chinese reading interest and Chinese reading score rate,to discover the impact of suspense teaching methods on students And its changes.Finally,the instructor and students give suggestions for the author's action research,and the author also tries to summarize the setting principles of the suspense teaching method of Chinese in junior middle school.
