With the rapid development of informatization in today's society, there is a higher demand for teachers. Most of the teachers in ancient China took evangelism, teaching, and puzzle solving as their responsibilities.Nowadays, the role of teachers is constantly enriching with the deepening of the curriculum reform.Expectations from various fields make the role of teachers more inclined to develop as collaborators of students And leader. In high school, the teacher is the person closest to the student's soul, and plays a very important role in developing the student's outlook on life and world.Students are the main relationship objects of teachers, and teachers are the objects of daily learning. Both are actual participants in teaching and learning activities.Role-related activities actually take place in their lives every day,so students' expectations are the most direct reflection of the role of teachers.Studying the role expectations of teachers on this basis can not only help teachers clarify the standards of good teachers in students' minds, accurately position roles, but also prompt teachers to discover their own shortcomings and gradually improve to become good teachers in high school students' minds. In this study,a questionnaire analysis method was used to investigate teacher role expectations for high school students.A total of 420 students from the first and second grades of two middle schools in a city in Shandong Province were selected for questionnaire distribution. After screening,400 copies of the data were available. The author used the semiotics and role theory combined with SPSS software factor analysis to compile the questionnaire, and determined four dimensions, namely, verbal language symbols and text symbols in language symbols, explicit symbols and non-verbal symbols. The implicit symbol is composed of 28 topics. And through analysis, the questionnaire has high reliability and validity, and the teacher role expectations of high school students of different genders, different grades, different positions, and different academic achievements are different, and try to analyze the reasons for this difference.Through the survey,we found that the expectations of teachers' roles in high school students are relatively high.Students are no longer attracted to the role of teachers in the traditional sense, and the overall quality of teachers is more demanding. There are significant differences in teacher role expectations of high school students of different genders, and girls 'role expectations are significantly higher than those of boys. The teacher role expectations of high school students in different grades are significantly different. The expectation of teacher roles of senior two students is higher than that of senior one students;the teacher role expectations of students of different positions are significantly different, and the expectations of teacher role of student cadres are higher than those of ordinary students; There are significant differences in teacher role expectations for students with different academic achievements. The top 25% of students with the highest academic performance have the highest expectations, followed by the top 100%,then the top 75% and the top 50%of students. In terms of specific dimensions, different students have different expectations of teacher roles in all dimensions. On this basis, the author has made targeted suggestions.First, teachers need to teach students of different genders, grades, positions, and grades according to their aptitude;secondly, teachers need to teach in posture, attitude, oral expression,knowledge,skills,emotions,etc.Self-improvement must be achieved;in the end, teachers 'mental health must be maintained and teachers' stress relieved. On the one hand,to reduce students' high expectations of teachers, students should form a reasonable view of teachers;on the other hand, schools should care about the healthy growth of teachers.
