A Research On The Ideal Roles Of Fathers In Infant Rearing From The Perspective Of Children

The father has irreplaceable value in the upbringing of children.However,in real life,the phenomenon of the absence of father's rearing and education still exists widely.Apart from some objective reasons such as fathers do not have enough time,more importantly,many fathers lack a clear understanding of their roles in child rearing.Even,some fathers are willing to bring up their children but never want to consider their children's inner most feelings,experiences and even needs.Fundamentally speaking,this is a parenting style based on the perspective of adults,and it is difficult to truly understand children.On the contrary,the perspective of children provides a solution,which needs to explore the roles of fathers from the perspective of children,that is,the father's images that children like,or the father's images that children expect.Combined with the research methods of work analysis and interview,this study randomly selected 27 children from a big class in park M,city A,25 children from a big class in park X,city A,and 26 children from a big class in park J,city A.There are 78 children as research objects in total.This paper studied the thematic paintings of 78 children from six aspects: appearance,speech,action,emotion,personality and ability,and interviewed the children and their fathers.The results of the survey on the ideal roles of fathers in infant rearing from the perspective of children are as follows:"My father is big and strong" "My father looks handsome in them" "My father talks funny" "Dad,please give me more praise""Dad,please hold my hand" "Daddy,hug me please" and "My father should protect me" "My father should trust me" "My father should play with me" "My daddy loves smiling" "My father is very patient" "Dad,please keep your word"My father is able to make money" "My father can do the housework" "My father is good at playing games".We analyzed and summarized the results of the survey on the ideal roles of fathers in infant rearing from the perspective of children,and found that the ideal role contains the sense of belonging and value that children need.The ideal role tends to positive parenting styles.The ideal role focuses on highlighting the intersubjectivity in the interaction.The ideal role has the consciousness to turn possibility into reality.The ideal role is the unity of outer beauty and inner good.The reasons for the ideal roles of fathers in infant rearing from the perspective of children are as follows: The ideal role starts from children's basic needs.The ideal role comes from children's life worlds.The ideal role is based on children's age characteristics.The ideal role is seen in children's personality differences.The ideal role is formed in the children's current experiences.Based on the existing investigation and analysis,we think that the characteristics of the ideal role can directly provide inspirations for fathers to raise children,while the reasons of the ideal role can indirectly provide inspirations for fathers to raise children.The direct enlightenment of the ideal roles of fathers in infant rearing from the perspective of children are as follows: Showing love and trust should be the purpose of fathers in infant rearing.Kindness and firmness should be the way for fathers to participate in child rearing.Understanding and dialogue should be the principle for fathers to participate in child rearing.Fighting for time and giving space should be a strategy for fathers to participate in child rearing.The unity of inner good and outer beauty should be the way for fathers to participate in the upbringing of children.The indirect enlightenment of the ideal roles of fathers in infant rearing from the perspective of children are as follows:fathers need to understand the basic needs of children,to understand their life worlds,to understand their age characteristics,to understand their personality characteristics,to understand their current experiences,and to achieve "understanding" through dialogue.
