| Growth mindset is proposed by American psychologist Carol Dweck.It is a theory of achievement motivation.The theory discusses the importance of growth mindset for human development.Students with growth mindset can well adapt to the development of the times.With the development of the core literacy of Chinese students in China,how to train people who adapt to the development of the times has attracted more and more attention.In order to better implement the core literacy,some scholars in China had integrated growth mindset into daily teaching.But in biology teaching,there were few studies to cultivate growth mindset.Therefore,this study attempted to apply growth mindset to high school biology teaching,which was designed to develop students 'growth mindset while studying biology knowledge.This research used literature retrieval method,questionnaire survey method,classroom observation method and date analysis method.This study was divided into five parts.The first part discussed the significance of cultivating students 'growth mindset in the high school biology teaching.The second part used the literature retrieval method to read and sort out the relevant books and documents.And defined the concept of mindset,fixed mindset and growth mindset.And the theory applied in this study.The third part was to pretested the students 'mindset by issuing questionnaires.The fourth part combined the biology teaching to build a cultivation with growth mindset characteristics suitable for high school students and applied it to teaching practice.Conducted practical effect analysis through questionnaires and other methods.In the last pare of this article,this research would reflect on the teaching practice of growth mindset for senior high school students and give corresponding improvement strategies.The survey results indicated that most students 'mindset were between fixed mindset and growth mindset.Therefore,it is determined that the mindset of high school students had room to develop into a growth mindset.On the basis of in-depth analysis and discussion,designed the construction of the growth mindset training model of high school students.The model was divided into three stages: pre-lessen preparation-“guidance”,classroom learning-“excitement” and after-class review-“mention”.In the “guidance” stage,students were taught to use the SMART goal method to set their learning goals.This stage was intended to guide students to develop growth mindset.In the “excitement” stage,students were encouraged to develop growth mindset through language incentives and growth mindset teaching.In the “mention” stage,students improved and strengthened growth mindset by writing concept maps and drawing mind maps.Improved Students 'growth mindset.After teaching practice,post-tested the students 'mindset.This study conducted F test on two survey results.The results showed that there is a significant difference between before and after test results.This showed that under this cultivation students 'growth mindset had been significantly improved.It had a positive significance for developing scientific thinking,promoting the formation of life concepts,and implementing the core literacy of biological disciplines.Based on the above research results,this study gave strategies and suggestions on how to develop high school students' growth mindset in biology teaching.This research hoped that in the future high school biology teaching,(1)perfect the training strategy;(2)change the thinking mode;(3)strengthen widely communication;(4)enhance the evaluation language and other ways to promote the professional development of students 'thinking quality. |
