Judging from the history of mathematics,every important discovery of mathematics is full of non-rigorous.In addition to strict verification,we also should make reasonable and bold assumptions and carry out verification.Mathematical research is based on a large number of plausible reasoning,and analogy is one of the main forms of plausible reasoning.Whether learning new knowledge or using the original knowledge to solve new problems,we can compare new knowledge or new problems with the original knowledge,and then to find a solution to the problem,thus we can utilize a positive transfer in knowledge and methods.The application of analogy in teaching is conducive to the cultivation of students' creative thinking,the construction of students' knowledge system and a rapid solution to their questions.This research firstly relies on the connotation,nature and formal value of analogy based on literature review.Secondly,through investigation and study in teaching materials from teachers,students and classroom teaching,we can clearly understand the current situation of applying analogy in mathematics teaching in primary-senior school.Specific research conclusions are as follows:1.In teaching materials,analogy is involved in all four major fields,but it is not clearly reflected.2.Teachers and students subjectively attach great importance to analogy and they believe analogy is very useful.However,this is not true in actual teaching,which is manifested in the following aspects: there is no clear analogy in classroom teaching;teachers do not carefully prepare for the application of analogy,and the result is in missed opportunities and incomplete processes.3.It is difficult for teachers and students to apply analogy in mathematics teaching.Finally,based on current situation,some strategies for effective application of analogy in teaching are put forward: Improving teachers' understanding of analogy;Clearly using analogy in teaching;Creating opportunities for students to use analogy;Paying attention to the construction of students' knowledge system;Effectively carrying out group cooperative learning.At the same time,thesis points out the problems that should be paid attention to when applying analogy: probability of analogy reasoning;mechanical nature of analogy application;long-term nature of analogical cultivation.As discussed above,the problem is: teachers and students apply analogy is difficult,so this thesis discusses the specific application of analogy in teaching by combining teaching design,class-rule and problem-solving.
