Modern thinking method of social science is far more important than scientific knowledge itself, and the analogy is an important scientific thinking method. Analogy and chemistry has a close relationship, the use of analogical reasoning contributes to understanding chemical new concept, memorizing chemical new knowledge and solving problems in the process of chemistry,by which we can get twice the result with half effort. And the best way to cultivate students’ analogy reasoning is to use analogy teaching. This study aims to make more and more front-line teachers accept the practical teaching method through concrete analogy teaching classroom case study, thus boosting and promoting the popularity of analogical teachingBased on the review of existing research, this study conducted a case study.The researcher chose practical and instructional FAR analogy teaching model,and modified it according to the actual and local situation.Based on the modified model, the researcher designed "periodic trends and the periodic table" analogy teaching cases.The researcher conducted an experiment on” experiment group”and “control group” and then compare the results depending on the test,eventually the researcher found analogy teaching can not only greatly improve students’ interest in chemistry learning,but also help students grasp knowledge comprehensively, at the same time, it has obvious effects on improving the students’ comprehensive ability of applying knowledge. But this research also has a lot of deficiencies. For example, analogy teaching practice cases is not wide enough,the analysis of data statistics is not doing carefully enough. Also the selection of samples is not random. But analogy teaching for the cultivation of the students chemistry interest in learning will provides a very good development direction for the analogy teaching case study.
