As a selection examination for high school to university, there is no doubt that the college entrance examination questions must reflect the latest achievements of education reform. The reform of the college entrance examination is advancing continuously, and the new curriculum standard is based on the cultivation of the core quality of students' chemistry, which values the all-round development of students, rather than being limited to the mastery of knowledge points. This paper studies the teaching strategy of elemental compounds in this context by transforming the learning method into a breakthrough,by the important support of teacher's teaching thought, and optimizing the student's learning strategy and the teacher's teaching strategy. On the basis of the relevant literature, the question type and the knowledge points and characteristics involved in the examination paper of "element compound" questions in the last 3 years are combed and analyzed.By exploring the problem type and characteristics of elemental compounds in the college entrance examination, the students were interviewed about the difficulties in answering the questions of elemental compounds and the problems faced by teachers in the teaching of elemental compounds, and developed effective teaching strategies and practices for elemental compound learning, and guided the study of elemental compounds. For the teaching of elemental compounds put forward the following teaching strategies: master the principle, explore micro-macro,enlighten teaching, pay attention to inquiry experiments, build systems, constantly reorganize processing, situational teaching, pay attention to social development, correct attribution,to help students grow.In the teaching activities to apply, but there are certain shortcomings, need to be improved through practice.
