In the high school chemistry teaching content,the element and its compound related knowledge belongs to the key component,in the teaching material throughout the beginning and the end,is also an important examination point in the chemistry examination.Elements and their compounds knowledge is the basic knowledge of chemistry discipline,to provide support for the subsequent chemical related theoretical study,element and compound knowledge itself is good teaching value,can carry all kinds of education concepts,especially in the guide students to establish correct outlook on life,cultivate humanity accomplishment and scientific spirit can play the carrier role,chemistry teacher for its further research and development.The “General High School Chemistry Curriculum Standards(2017 Version)” issued by the Ministry of Education in 2018 formally included the term “Core Chemistry Literacy” in the important documents of the basic education curriculum reform,which put forward higher requirements for basic education.To enable students to master knowledge,we must also cultivate the core qualities of students in teaching.In response to the teaching reforms,this study studied the teaching strategies of elements and their compounds,an important part of high school chemistry.This thesis consults a large number of literature on teaching strategies of elements and compounds in high schools,analyzes the current status of chemistry teaching in high schools,and on this basis,finds the theoretical basis useful for research.,including the concept of “STSE”,"Constructive Theory","Teaching Theory According to Aptitude","Ebbinghaus Forgetting Curve of Psychology","Principles for Students to Learn Knowledge of Elements and Compounds in High School","Student's Ability to Learn Knowledge of Elements and Compounds in High School" "etc.This research adopts literature analysis method,classroom observation,questionnaire,interview method,comparative analysis and other research methods.First,a sample questionnaire survey was conducted on all Senior One students in Jianyang,Sichuan Province,showing situation of learning elements and their compounds and understanding the students' learning difficulties.At the same time,they also investigated the implementation of core literacy in chemistry by high school chemistry teachers during teaching.According to the results of the questionnaire survey and the specific requirements of the core literacy of chemistry,the basic principles of designing teaching strategies for elements and compounds of high schools are summarized,that is,"infiltration of chemistry subject ideas and scientific methods in chemistry teaching","guide students to learn independently and become passive”,"change passive learning into active learning","Guide students to self-reflection and self-evaluation","Change from zero to whole,and guide students to build their own knowledge network system","Arouse students' interest in learning by group experiment and fun experiment","Connect life reality,Broaden students' horizons "," use multimedia-assisted teaching to improve classroom capacity and wonderfulness "," have a unique chemistry teaching style "," appropriately reduce the amount of work for students to reduce the learning burden "these principles.After proposing the corresponding principles,the teaching strategies were designed in strict accordance with these principles,and teaching cases such as talking about the ancient and modern methods,the method of life based on materials,the fun experimental method,and the green chemistry method were presented.Finally,this paper analyzes the examination results of students using different teaching methods.Based on the experimental results,the effectiveness of the teaching strategies of high school elements and compounds based on core literacy of the subject is also analyzed.It is found that teaching strategies based on core literacy of the subject are more likely to arouse students' interest in learning and improve their learning effect.Finally,the thesis analyzes the shortcomings of the current research and puts forward the prospects for the follow-up research.
