As a leading industry in the service industry,the tourism industry's strong development momentum has driven a large number of jobs.At the same time,it is accompanied by a high turnover rate of high-quality employees.The contradiction between the supply and demand of talents and the market seriously affects the high-quality development of the tourism industry and the pace of international standards.How to ensure the high-quality development of the tourism industry,the employment rate of high-quality talents will be a major challenge.Therefore,from the perspective of tourism undergraduate interns,this article focuses on the impact of tourism undergraduate intern 's professional values on career choices and whether Intern satisfaction has an intermediary role between the two,and provides the theoretical basis for the career selection intention.After combing relevant research literature at home and abroad,this study uses the more mature measurement scales currently recognized in the academic community:a survey of college students' professional values,a survey scale for satisfaction of undergraduate interns for tourism majors revised according to relevant literature,and career selection Intentional measurement scale,forming a measurement questionnaire with high reliability and validity.Based on the existing literature and the relevant characteristics of China's tourism higher education,this study analyzes the influence path between occupational values as independent variables,job selection intention as dependent variable,and internship satisfaction as mediating variables.In this study,a sample survey of 304 undergraduates with internship experience in the national tourism major was conducted,followed by an empirical analysis using SPSS 25.0 to explore in depth the influence of professional values on career choice intentions and the mediating role of internship satisfaction.Based on the data obtained from the questionnaire survey and the analysis of the above studies,the following main research results have been obtained in this study:(1)The one-dimensional measurement scale for internship satisfaction of tourism undergraduate interns was revised.According to the existing literature and expert interviews,a total of 13 indicators were developed.The reliability and validity are good,and it is feasible and scientific.(2)It is revealed that the professional values of tourism undergraduate internships have a significant positive impact on career selection intentions,professional values have a significant positive impact on internship satisfaction,and internship satisfaction also has a significant positive impact on career selection intentions.It shows that improving the professional values and satisfaction of internships for tourism undergraduates will directly promote their career choice intentions in the industry.(3)Internship satisfaction has a full mediating role between professional values and career intentions.This shows that the professional values of tourism undergraduate interns completely influence their career choice intentions through internship satisfaction.(4)Tourism undergraduate interns' career values,internship satisfaction,and career choice intentions differ significantly in whether they are only children,grade level,and internship time.Attention should be paid to the influence of these controllable factors on various variables.(5)Suggestions for internship satisfaction and industry selection in the industry:Facing the role change,colleges and universities should establish and change the professional values of internships consistent with the tourism industry;universities and internship units should improve the management system of internships and establish an internship satisfaction evaluation system and other methods to seize the key influence variables and improve the internship satisfaction of interns;pay attention to the integration and utilization of school-enterprise resources,strengthen school-enterprise cooperation,and promote job selection.
