After the implementation of the comprehensive two child policy,part of the reproductive rights return to the hands of the reproductive subject.As a prospective variable of reproductive behavior,reproductive intention has been widely concerned and discussed.In the context of the expansion of women's autonomy and reproductive choice,especially in the environment of the improvement of women's social status and family status,it is particularly important to study their reproductive intention from the perspective of women.In the research field of female gender role and fertility intention,the relationship between gender role and fertility intention has been involved in many studies,such as the cost of reproductive opportunity of professional women,work family conflict.However,as far as the current research status is concerned,there is still a lack of a comprehensive perspective of gender roles,so this paper takes women's gender role attitude as the starting point to explore whether gender role attitude will have an impact on fertility intention and what kind of impact it will have.With the development of education and the change of social division of labor,the attitude of women's gender role is changing from traditional to modern.More and more women participate in the social division of labor and have a more equal concept of gender.In the quantitative analysis,this paper uses the data of CGSS(2015)of China's comprehensive social survey,and finds that more than half of women of childbearing age have two ideal children,most of them have two ideal children,and their ideal children structure is "both children and children".The scale of gender role attitude in the questionnaire was developed by Renmin University of China,which mainly includes five dimensions: family and career,ability characteristics,self realization,employmentequality and family division of labor.Gender role attitude variables were obtained by factor analysis.It is found that women's attitudes towards gender roles tend to be modern in general,especially in the concepts of family division of labor,employment and ability.Then,based on the theories of fertility rate transformation and gender role modernization,this paper studies the influence of gender role attitude on childbearing age women's childbearing intention from two parts: ideal number of children and gender preference,and analyzes the ideal number of children and gender preference of childbearing age women by using ordered logistic regression model and multiple logistic regression model,respectively The related variables(personal factors,economic factors,regional factors)of women's willingness to have children found that the more traditional the gender role attitude,the more ideal number of children,especially the traditional tendency in the concept of "male dominated,female dominated" will significantly increase the number of ideal children of women.Moreover,the more traditional the gender role attitude is,the more likely it is to have gender preference,which has the greatest influence on "boy preference",followed by "children's dual integrity" ideal child structure preference,and also has a positive influence on "girl preference".According to the theoretical hypothesis of the article,it can be inferred that the more modern the attitude of women's gender role is,the greater the impact of competition,the lower the number of ideal children to bear,and the modernization of women's gender role is reflected in their concept of equality between men and women,so the gender role The more modern the attitude,the less likely the women are to have sex preference.In order to establish a fertility friendly environment and promote gender equality in all aspects,it is necessary to speed up the mainstreaming of gender awareness,reduce women's housework burden and actively eliminate gender discrimination in the workplace,which is not only conducive to helping women realize their roles,but also conducive to improving the fertility rate and promoting the rationalization of gender structure.
