Open-source hardware is an effective tool for STEAM education,not only in the form of integrated practical activities,but also as an elective course of information technology in primary schools.However,due to the late start of maker courses and STEAM education in China,there are still many problems in the course development and education of micro: bit.This paper analyzes the research status of STEAM education and open source hardware micro: bit at home and abroad,and finds that there are still some problems in STEAM education,such as the lack of effective curriculum resources,the scarcity of professional teachers and the limitation of relevant teaching tools.In view of this situation,this paper proposes an interdisciplinary integration program of micro: bit programming courses based on specific grade and specific course contents,and independently prepares micro: bit school-based teaching materials with constructivism as the main theoretical basis for curriculum development.In the fourth grade,the author carried out curriculum implementation,carried out teaching activities in the form of projects,and conducted research and analysis on the teaching effect.The results show that the curriculum has good educational value.In this program,the objectives of the curriculum are matched with those of multiple subjects one by one,which breaks the boundary of traditional subjects and changes the teaching knowledge from the original oneness to the present comprehensiveness.According to the research,students show a high level of interest in this STEAM education course,and their problem-solving abilityhas been improved.They can think from different perspectives,discuss the limitations of solutions,analyze the advantages and disadvantages,and design the optimal solution.This paper is discussed in the following chapters.The first chapter explains the research background,domestic and foreign research status,purpose,content and research methods.Chapter two discusses related concepts and theoretical basis.The third chapter discusses the development of micro:bit curriculum based on STEAM education,analyzes the components,teaching environment and learning objects of the curriculum,and designs the curriculum objectives,contents and evaluation.The developed curriculum focuses on the integration of multiple disciplines to develop students' ability to analyze and solve problems in programming.The fourth chapter improves and implements the course on the basis of first round experiments.Teaching cases of comprehensive projects are cited to describe the teaching process of second rounds experiments.The fifth chapter is the summary and prospect of the article.
