The main purpose of biology curriculum in compulsory education is to improve students' biological science literacy.In recent years,the implementation of the new curriculum reform has also paid more attention to showing the basic content of biological science to students and reflecting the nature of natural science.In junior high school biology teaching,most of the knowledge is the cognition of biological structure model.Therefore,how to make students understand the structural model more intuitively and how to explain the knowledge more effectively are the key issues that should be considered in current middle school teaching.Based on the current research of blackboard painting teaching at home and abroad,this research defined the relevant concepts of blackboard painting teaching by referring to relevant documents through the Internet and books in the library.The author has enriched his research foundation by consulting theoretical knowledge.Combined with the existing data analysis of blackboard painting teaching at the present stage of the existing problems,the author put forward the design principles and steps of blackboard painting teaching,and designed the process of blackboard painting teaching.Secondly,when the author was a substitute teacher in Guandu No.5 Middle School of Kunming City,Yunnan Province,this study was carried out for one academic year,with a total of 9 examples.In order to make classroom teaching more scientific and standardized,the author conducted an analysis and discussion of the teaching design with teachers of the same grade before the teaching implementation,and modified the teaching design according to the evaluation opinions of other teachers.In the implementation process,the author took Class 1 and Class 2 of Grade 2018 of the junior high school students as the implementation objects.In this research,class 2 was used as an experimental class to teach blackboard painting.As a control class,class 1 conducted conventional multimedia teaching.The seventh grade biology course “Three Physiological Functions of Plants” and “The Pumps for Blood Delivery-Heart” were selected as the two typical topics for academic performance analysis.Through analysis and comparison,this study analyzed the achievement of students' knowledge goal from the post-test results;from the aspect of classroom effect and student evaluation,the achievement degree of ability goal and emotion attitude value goal was evaluated.The results showed that blackboard painting teaching was conducive to students' mastery of structural models,enabling them to better understand the relevant structures and functions,which was very conducive to the implementation of teaching.The author also applied blackboard painting teaching in the elective class of Guandu No.5 Middle School,the support education class of Luchun County of Honghe Prefecture,and the teaching practice class of Taiwan Chung-Hsin School.Through the analysis of three cases,the author found that blackboard painting teaching was more suitable for junior high school teaching and could cultivate students' new methods of learning biology.But it required a high degree of knowledge for students to apply in the review class.Based on the application of blackboard painting teaching in junior high school biology teaching,this study has concluded that blackboard painting teaching was irreplaceable by other teaching methods.It was applicable for different types of classes,and its application could significantly improve students' biological core literacy,and could effectively build a harmonious relationship between teachers and students.Finally,the author made a prospect for this research.The author will continue to apply this teaching method in the future teaching career,hoping to conduct more effective research in the later period.
