Research On The Elimination System Of Ph.D. Students In China

Constructing and implementing the elimination mechanism is an effective way to guarantee and improve the quality of doctoral training.In recent years,colleges and universities in China have actively explored and successively established the elimination mechanism of doctoral students,and its implementation status has been widely concerned by all sectors of society.Mechanism is a kind of driving force with the functions of encouragement,restriction and guarantee.This study uses the theory of negative incentive and institutional function,and takes the attributes and functions of the elimination mechanism as the analysis framework,summarizes the implementation status and problems of the elimination mechanism of doctoral students in 14 Pilot Universities of comprehensive reform of doctoral education in China,and puts forward optimization suggestions.The first chapter is the introduction.This paper expounds the background and research significance of the topic,focuses on the research status of graduate incentive mechanism,elimination mechanism and doctoral elimination mechanism,defines the core concepts of "mechanism","elimination mechanism" and "doctoral elimination mechanism",takes the negative incentive theory and institutional function theory as the theoretical basis of this study,defines the research methods,and points out the difficulties of the research Points and innovations.The second chapter describes the background of the implementation of the elimination mechanism from four aspects: the effective experience of the elimination in the cultivation of overseas doctoral students,the realistic requirements of the decline in the quality of the cultivation of doctoral students in China,the strategic drive of the construction of "double first class" and the diminishing crisis of the effectiveness of the incentive mechanism.In the third chapter,through consulting the regulations and information about the elimination of doctoral students in 14 Pilot Universities of comprehensive reform of doctoral education,the author sums up three elimination mechanisms,namely,illegal elimination,academic elimination and school system elimination.The institutional rigidity of the elimination mechanism in violation of regulations runs through the whole process of the cultivation of doctoral students,which always restricts the thoughts and behaviors of doctoral students.The academic elimination mechanism is a kind of flexible constraint with a warning function,aiming to punish those who fail to meet the qualification standards in academic study,promote the academic study of doctoral students,and timely divert those doctoral students who are not suitable for further study.The elimination mechanism of academic system refers to the system that doctoral students can not complete their studies and research tasks as scheduled according to the length of schooling prescribed by their universities.The purpose is to control the stock of doctors and ensure the training efficiency,which is a helpless move.The fourth chapter analyzes the existing problems of the elimination mechanism of doctoral students in China,mainly including the lack of clarity in value judgment,the lack of systematicness in mechanism structure,the lack of operability in system content,etc.;the academic assessment is mostly in form,mainly manifested in the random academic performance,too loose opening links,papers submitted for review or accommodation;the elimination of illegal bottom line defense loose,academic elimination into decoration The moral evaluation is difficult to operate and the execution effect is weak.The fifth chapter puts forward the optimization suggestions for the existing problems of doctor elimination mechanism.The system design needs to clarify the value orientation,coordinate the structure and refine the content.By setting up the supervision mechanism,strengthening the authority of the system and giving compensation to the number of doctors,the implementation of the elimination mechanism of doctoral students can be guaranteed,and the quality assurance role of the elimination mechanism of doctoral students can be further played.
