Peer imitation plays an important role in children's individual socialization and has a unique value for children's physical and mental development.Regional activities are an important form of autonomous activities for children,in which children can learn and develop through communication and interaction with peers.In this study,one class was selected from Y kindergarten in Baoding city,including one small class,one middle class and one large class.The observation method and interview method were adopted to focus on children's peer imitation behaviors in regional activities,so as to refine the development characteristics of children's peer imitation behaviors,and try to analyze and discuss the causes.The research draws the following conclusions: First,from the perspective of age distribution,small-class children have the most peer imitation behaviors in regional activities;Second,from the perspective of the number of participants,the frequency of peer imitation between two people is the highest.With the increase of age,the number of participants increases gradually;Third,from the perspective of gender distribution,peer mimicry is more likely to occur between the same sex,especially between boys than girls;Fourth,from the perspective of imitation situation,the peer imitation behaviors of children in small class and middle class mostly appear in the role area and construction area,while the peer imitation behaviors of children in large class mostly appear in construction area and art area;Fifth,From the perspective of imitation motivation,3-6-year-old children mostly use playfulness and convergence as their peer imitation motivation;Sixth,From the perspective of imitation content,3-6-year-old children's imitation of the combination of body movements,speech acts and emotional performance of their peers is the most,most of the content of children's peer imitation is based on their own experience,in addition,interesting content is more likely to be imitated by children;Seventh,from the perspective of teachers' coping styles,teachers ignore most of children's peer imitation behaviors.Based on the empirical research results,in order to correctly understand and treat children's peer imitation behavior,the following Suggestions are proposed: Understand children's imitation characteristics,give correct guidance;Combine with the imitation content,choose the reasonable teaching content;Set an example image,build a good class atmosphere;Continue to reflect to promote better development of children.
