The deaths of students in primary and middle schools in China are frequent.The Taiwan region has issued a series of swimming policies for primary and secondary schools on this issue and has achieved remarkable results.It has reference significance for mainland China.This paper uses the literature method,interview method,text analysis method and case study method to study a series of texts on the swimming policy of primary and secondary schools issued by the Taiwan government.The main research object is based on the perspective of students' drowning death.A series of interpretations of the main contents of the swimming policy texts of primary and secondary schools in Taiwan,China,mainly lead to the conclusion:A series of primary and secondary school swimming policies in Taiwan have emerged in the historical context of the high number of students suffering from drowning in the development of marine education by the Taiwan authorities.They are "urgent,gradual,focused and scientific." "specialty.It is mainly promoted from “sports and sports facilities in primary and secondary schools,swimming teaching in primary and secondary schools,swimming ability of primary and secondary school students and promotion of swimming policy promotion”,especially the promotion of “testing the passing rate of student swimming test every year” required by the policy.Effectively reduce the occurrence of students drowning deaths.Based on the current situation of the swimming policy in mainland China,the main inspirations for the mainland are:(1)speed up the development and promotion of swimming policies in primary and secondary schools(2)improve the quality of swimming teaching(3)focus on the mastery of swimming self-rescue.(4)Statistics and publication of relevant data.
